As grocery WalterMart continues to bring its signature service through its “More to Love at WalterMart” campaign, it welcomes Alden Richards — one of his generation’s most sought artists — as its new brand ambassador.
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards reveals how he’s always loved grocery shopping as a kid and up to now.
Originally from Laguna, Richards shared during his grocery visit-cum-launch how he used to frequent WalterMart’s Sta. Rosa branch in his early years.
“Noon pa lang avid goer na ako ng WalterMart, kaya sobrang excited ako maging part ng WalterMart family,” he related to charmed executives, staff and guests.”Mahilig talaga ako mag-shop especially for my family and mas naging exciting pa yan with this partnership.”
If and when he can, the devoted son and brother enjoys shopping for food for the whole family.
According to WalterMart General Manager Rose Caalam, Richards is the perfect fit as the chain’s newest ambassador mainly because he’s very much aligned with the brand’s values.
“WalterMart has always been keen in uplifting the lives of the communities it serves, and it’s perfect that Alden also has his causes such as this, through his AR Foundation,” the executive added, noting the actor’s philanthropic organization.
WalterMart Supermarket VP for Operations Sheila Sua and WalterMart SVP and GM for Operations Jerico Buñing welcome the well-loved celebrity as the newest ambassador of the grocery chain.
Although his schedule is relatively much busier than his Sta. Rosa days, Richards likewise conveyed he finds comfort knowing he has a partner in fulfilling his family’s needs at home, noting, “Especially with WalterMart’s choices, convenience, and savings.”
