Day 2 Summary: Resuming at 95/2, Bonner departed within the first hour. Brathwaite did carry on but was dismissed by Khaled Ahmed on 94. But with Kyle Myers, Josua da Silva, Alzarri Joseph and Kemar Roach departing in quick succession, Bangladesh made a fine comeback.

Mehidy Hasan bagged four wickets they dismissed West Indies for 265 runs. Jermaine Blackwood was the only Windies batter to offer some resistance in the middle order as others fell like a house of cards. 

But with a handy 165-run lead, West Indies were still on the driver’s seat and their bowlers’ approach proved that. Tamim Iqbal and Mehidy Hasan departed in the wee hours of Day 2, confirming West Indies’ dominance at home over Bangladesh. Still trailing by 112 runs, Bangladesh will have to avoid an innings-defeat on Day 3.

West Indies vs Bangladesh LIVE: Day 1 summary: Skipper Shakib Al Hasan did have a decent outing, as he scored 51 runs.
