Mary May Ruiz then went off over two blockers to give JRU a commanding 2-1 lead, 25-17.

Letran again tried to mount a fightback but JRU charged with a 6-1 barrage for an 19-12 lead in the fourth set.

An error from both sides capped off the match as JRU booked ita first win.
