Creamline sweeps Gerflor for third straight win

The Creamline Cool Smashers swept the Gerflor Defenders, 25-15, 25-12, 25-10, to notch their third straight win in the 2023 PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Michele Gumabao paced Creamline with 12 points, while Tots Carlos and Jema Galanza chipped in seven points apiece.

Menchie Tubiera and Mary Grace Berte had five points each for the Defenders which slipped to 0-2.

Meanwhile, the Akari Chargers scored their second consecutive win after taking down the Farm Fresh Foxies, 21-25, 26-24, 25-15, 25-21.

Dindin Manabat posted 22 points, while Faith Nisperos and Fifi Sharma had 15 and 14 points, respectively, as the Chargers went up to 3-1, while Farm Fresh remained winless in three games.

The Choco Mucho Flying Titans, on the other hand, won over the Cignal HD Spikers in straight sets, 25-21, 25-19, 25-18.

Sisi Rondina led the Titans with 18 points, while Kat Tolentino and Maddie Madayag had 14 and 12 points, respectively.

With the win, Choco Mucho improved to 2-1 while Cignal went down to 1-2.

PVL action will head to Candon, Ilocos Sur on Saturday when F2 takes on Galeries, while Nxled goes against Petro Gazz.
