Tom Holland is swinging back over to the theater stage!
According to a report on Variety, the “Spider-Man” star will play Romeo in the London West End revival of “Romeo and Juliet,” directed by Jamie Lloyd.
There is no news yet as to who will play Holland’s Juliet.
The limited run of the play will last for 12 weeks and will begin performances in May, the report added.
“Tom Holland is one of the greatest, most exciting young actors in the world,” Lloyd said in a statement. “It is an honor to welcome him back to the West End.”
Holland made his stage debut as the title role in “Billy Elliot: The Musical.”
Aside from his well-loved role as Peter Parker in Marvel’s Spider-Man films, he also starred in “Uncharted,” “Cherry,” and “The Devil All the Time.”
