The film is set in New York City on the first day of the alien invasion that would forever change the world.

The third installment in the post-apocalyptic horror franchise will veer away from the story of the Abbott family—John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe—and will introduce new characters to the growing cinematic universe. Franchise newcomers include Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou.

“A Quiet Place: Day One” was directed by Michael Sarnoski and produced by Paramount Pictures, Platinum Dunes, and Sunday Night Productions.
